The ceremony marked the conclusion of a training cycle aimed at preparing young Angolans to meet the challenges of the job market, reinforcing Etu Energias’ commitment to social responsibility, particularly in the areas of education, health, social inclusion, and economic development.

The event was attended by the partners of Block 2/05, namely Falcon Oil, Prodoil, and Poliedro, representatives of the National Oil and Gas Agency, representatives of the Ministry of Education, and representatives of the Technical and Metallurgical Training Center (CFTM), as well as the management of IMAL and graduating students.

Under the coordination of the Technical and Metallurgical Training Center (CFTM), which oversaw the final evaluations, the event highlighted the top-performing students. Two participants were awarded merit diplomas and granted university scholarships by Etu Energias, as a way to encourage academic excellence and the continuation of their studies.

“This training program has already benefited more than 2,500 young people and is also being implemented at the Soyo Polytechnic Institute and the Bengo Polytechnic Institute. The initiative aims to equip trainees with strong technical skills, promoting employability and entrepreneurship,” stated Djidi-Ann dos Santos, Director of External Relations, Communication and Image at Etu Energias.

As the operator of Blocks 2/05, CON-1, CON-2, CON-6, and CON-8, as well as the FS/FST Associations, Etu Energias thus reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable development of the communities in which it operates, investing in human potential as a strategic driver for the growth of the energy sector and the national economy.
