Three Days of Presence at AOG 2026
The distinction marked the highlight of Etu Energias’ participation in AOG 2026, which took place from 8 to 10 September, with the company actively involved in different moments of the event programme.
Our participation began on 8 September at the Muhatu Leadership Forum, dedicated to strategic discussions on leadership, capacity building and the greater inclusion of women in the value chain and decision-making processes of Angola’s oil and gas sector.
Etu Energias was represented by its Director of External Relations, Communication and Image, Djidi-Ann dos Santos, who served as a moderator of one of the Forum’s panels, contributing to the discussion and sharing perspectives on the role of women in transforming the industry.
The Forum provided a platform for reflection and knowledge sharing on the challenges and opportunities for increasingly effective participation of women in the future of the industry, reinforcing the importance of leadership, capacity building and female representation in sector decision-making processes.
On 9 and 10 September, the 7th edition of the Angola Oil & Gas Conference brought together leaders, decision-makers, investors and experts from Angola’s and the international energy industry in Luanda.
Etu Energias maintained an active and strategic presence throughout the event programme, with particular emphasis on the participation of its Chairman and CEO, Edson dos Santos, in the Executive Leadership Dialogue: “Return on Investment in Angola – Unlocking Maximum Value from Angola’s Prolific O&G Basins”, focused on maximising value creation and investment returns across Angola’s prolific oil and gas basins.
The company was also represented in strategic panels, including the Angola Entrepreneurs Forum by Afreximbank, featuring Fernando Hermes, Board Member, and “Future-Proofing Infrastructure”, with Pedro Mora. Etu Energias also participated in a technical session led by Senior Engineer Osvaldo Bonfim, dedicated to the Espadarte appraisal well, sharing knowledge and perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
Etu Energias’ presence also extended to national and international media, through interviews with TPA, TV Girassol, Reuters and CNBC, contributing to increased visibility for the company, its projects and its vision for Angola’s energy sector.
