The opening ceremony featured the participation of Diamantino Azevedo, Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, and Paulino Jerónimo, Chairman of the ANPG Board of Directors, who presented the Government’s plans for a new licensing round for the 2026–2030 period. The focus is to boost exploration and further unlock the country’s energy potential.
Represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Edson R. dos Santos, Etu Energias joined experts, industry leaders and government institutions to assess the current state of onshore exploration in Angola, identify new opportunities, share experiences, and debate technical, logistical and environmental challenges.
The company will be featured in the panel "Exploration Activities in the Lower Congo Basin: Challenges and Lessons Learned", represented by its Exploration Department (GEXP), reinforcing Etu Energias’ commitment to innovation and technical knowledge sharing.
