The panel focused heavily on the policies and strategies that must be implemented to deal with the challenges that the oil industry is experiencing. However, the Human Capital theme was brought up by Administrator Valente in a succinct way and was greatly applauded by the audience.
“The difference between nations, the difference between families, lies in the quality of their human resources. Thinking strategically means thinking about resources and the greatest resource of any nation is man. Our wealth is and must be the quality of our human resources”, he stated.
Held annually, the AEF brought together national political decision-makers, international guests, academics, business leaders and civil society, to identify the main challenges and debate priority policies for the Angolan economy.
Among the main objectives are the promotion of the Angolan economy and popularization of investment opportunities and the establishment of the necessary foundations for the growth of the Angolan economy.
