The “Água Viva” project stems from a partnership between Etu Energias, the Archdiocese of Luanda (Catholic Church), and the Municipal Administration of Luínga, with the aim of ensuring sustainable access to clean drinking water through the drilling of boreholes, installation of solar energy systems, and construction of public water points.

Through this initiative, it is estimated that around 11,000 families will benefit—representing a significant gain in terms of public health, social dignity, and community development in the municipality.

The event was attended by representatives from the Government of Cuanza Norte, the Municipal Administration, the Archdioceses of Luanda and Ndalatando, as well as Etu Energias’ Social Projects department.

Powered by solar energy, the system provides a sustainable and efficient solution, aligned with best environmental practices and the promotion of balanced development.

More than just infrastructure, the “Água Viva Project” reflects Etu Energias’ commitment to creating a positive impact in the communities where it operates. The company reaffirms its belief that producing energy goes beyond its core business, also meaning delivering solutions that promote dignity, health, and opportunities for people.

With this initiative, Etu Energias reinforces its contribution to a more inclusive and sustainable future for Angola.
