Block CON 6 is located onshore in the Lower Congo Basin (Soyo) and will be operated by Etu Energias S.A (43.75%), which leads the contractor group composed of Mineral One S.A (43.75%) and Prodoil S.A.R.L (12 .50%).
The operations will be carried out within the framework of a Production Sharing Contract, which was signed between the National Concessionaire and the Contractor Group.
“Etu Energias will take advantage of the fact that it operates adjacent “Onshore” and “Offshore” Blocks and its accumulated experience, both from a scientific and operational point of view, to guarantee the creation of unique synergies and produce efficiently. Likewise, it will be a business opportunity for local companies in terms of service provision, in line with Etu Energias' development strategy”, said Edson R. Dos Santos, PCA Etu Energias
It should be noted that the exploration program for Block CON 6 will begin immediately, with a forecast of “First Oil” in approximately three years.
