The Cambéu Project, focused on the conservation of sea turtles in Benguela province, is gaining new momentum thanks to the involvement of Etu Energias, the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG), and the partners of Block 2/05, who are playing a key role in promoting this strategic environmental initiative.

During the ceremony, a Cooperation Protocol was signed between Etu Energias and the Cambéu Project, reinforcing the joint commitment to protecting marine biodiversity, promoting environmental education in coastal communities, and preserving endangered species.

“Sustainability is a cornerstone of our operations. This partnership reflects our effort to go beyond energy production by actively contributing to environmental and social well-being,” said Edson R. dos Santos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Etu Energias.

The Cambéu Project carries out actions such as beach patrols, nest protection after egg-laying, community awareness campaigns, the release of protected species, and support for scientific research on marine ecosystems.

With the support of ANPG and the Block 2/05 partners, Etu Energias strengthens its role as an energy company committed to sustainability, promoting responsible practices that combine economic growth with environmental preservation.
