The 5th edition of the Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) conference and exhibition, held on October 2nd and 3rd, brought together national and international companies, highlighting the vital role of the country in Africa’s hydrocarbon supply.
The first day was marked by the presence of the President of the Republic, who opened the event by stating that Angola seeks to contribute to global energy security and that the country has the capacity to maintain production above 1 million barrels per day.
The atmosphere of optimism was reflected in the tone of the presentations, which emphasized the importance of continued investment to increase oil and gas production. “The time is now,” one of the main speakers noted, stressing the urgency of leveraging reforms to boost high-impact projects.
